1. What Nookly will not make
Requests like these are refused before they reach the image model. A refused request never uses your allowance.
| Not allowed | Examples |
|---|---|
| Real brands, trademarks and signature products | A named furniture brand's iconic chair or lamp, company logos, branded packaging, characters owned by entertainment companies |
| Documents | Identity cards, passports or passport photos, driving licences, receipts, invoices, bank statements, certificates, diplomas, contracts, prescriptions and other medical papers, tickets, banknotes, even shown as props inside a room |
| Real or identifiable people | Face swaps, portraits of real people, celebrities, politicians, lookalikes |
| Living artists' personal styles | “In the style of” a named living illustrator, painter or studio |
| Sexual content | Nudity, sexualised scenes or objects, any sexual content involving minors (reported to the authorities) |
| Violence, weapons, drugs and hate | Firearms, gore, illegal drugs, hate symbols or extremist imagery |
Nookly has no photo upload, so it never works from pictures of real people or copies of other people's images.
2. What you must not do
- Try to get around our content rules, for example by misspelling blocked words or splitting them up.
- Remove or alter the AI-generation metadata to present an image as a photograph or as made without AI, or use an image to mislead people about a real place, product or event.
- Present Nookly illustrations as real furniture for sale, real property listings or professional design plans.
- Use Free-plan images commercially, or remove the Free-plan watermark.
- Create several accounts or clear cookies repeatedly to get more free images.
- Resell access to Nookly, share an account, or use automated scripts or scraping against the service.
- Use images to infringe anyone's rights, harass anyone or break the law.
- Attack, overload or probe the security of the service.
3. How we enforce these rules
- Automatic checks on the text you enter, before generation.
- Review of reports we receive about misuse.
- Depending on how serious a breach is, we may warn you, refuse requests, suspend or close your account. For the most serious cases, such as content involving minors, we report to law enforcement.
Automatic checks can occasionally block something harmless. If that happens, rephrase your request, or tell us so we can improve the check.
4. Report misuse
